
Igor Drobyshev est le directeur du laboratoire de dendroécologie situé à la station de recherche à la FERLD. Originaire de St-Petersbourg, il est au Canada depuis 2008.
Igor participe à de nombreuses recherches en dendroécologie de la forêt boréale et feuillue en différents endroit de l'hémisphère nord. Il s'intéresse particulièrement à la reconstitution historique des feux de forêts, la dendrochronologie et la modélisation climatique. Dans ses temps libres, il s'adonne au soccer.
