A digital microscope was used to photograph the lower surface of a Girardinia bullosa leaf. Trichomes (4-6mm) are the cells found here. The plant is indigenous to tropical Africa. trichomes are arranged on the mid vein and the two secondary vein. A scale was place down to measure the length of trichomes.
