Sanghyun Kim, a participé au XVe Congrès forestier mondial en Corée du Sud où il a fièrement représenté le GREMA, l'IRF-UQAT, la Chaire AFD et le CEF! Il y a présenté une affiche intitulée : Can Partial Harvest Be a Next-generation Forest Management? Ce fût une occasion pour renouer avec la communauté scientifique en personne et une opportunité d'établir de nouveaux contacts à l'international. Le congrès a d'ailleurs accueilli plus de 15 000 participants!
"I would like to deliver good news that the poster about my PhD project was posted and presented in the XV World Forestry Congress. In this congress, I was able to attend all the interesting sessions related to forestry and network diverse people from researchers (IUFRO) to international civil servant (FAO) as well as entrepreneurs (Korean giant companies, e.g., SK Forest, KAI, Samsung). I gratefully appreciate my supervisor Prof. Girona, co-supervisors, committee members and CEF to provide me an opportunity to present my research project in the great congress". – Sanghyun
