Natif de la ville de St-Romuald sur la rive-sud de Québec, Ugo a complété son baccalauréat en science biologique à l’Université de Montréal en 2006. Il a complété en 2010 une maîtrise à l’UQAM sous la supervision de Pierre Drapeau.
