
Ingénieure forestière de formation, Virginie s'intéresse à la vie après la mort… chez les arbres ! Dans le cadre de son Doctorat en biologie, sous la direction de Pierre Drapeau (UQAM) et Yves Bergeron (UQAM-UQAT), elle a étudié la dynamique des arbres morts en forêt boréale.
